Educational activities are intended to be vehicles for the study of earth and environmental sciences and stimulate critical thinking and scientific student population.
There are available in the download's area, presentations for the different school levels, about the "Azorean Volcanoes" and the "Azorean Geolandscapes" and their teacher guides (in portuguese), which can be used independently by teachers in the classroom.
There are being developed, currently, others educational contents that will be available opportunely.
It will be developed environmental awareness programs for the general public, encouraging dialogue between geoscientists and local populations.
